HGTV is also planning to flip and restore the Brunchy House which the network recently purchased.

AceShowbiz - HGTV's hit show "Flip or Flop" is set to return for season 8. The show's stars Tarek El Moussa and ex-wife Christina El Moussa announce the exciting news in a newly-released Instagram video.

"Guess who's back...," Christina, who is seemingly on the filming set for the television show, says, before the camera pans to Tarek. He later adds, "So this is season 8! I know we've been around for a really, really long time but we're back. We're ready to flip some houses!"

Christina writes in the caption, "We’re baaacckkk!!! #FlipOrFlop was just picked up by @hgtv for 15 new episodes!!" She goes on writing that the upcoming eight season is slated to premiere in Spring 2019. "We want to make it the best season yet.... What do you want to see this season?!"

Discovery, Inc. adds in a press release, "With viewership of 'Flip or Flop' up 18 percent over its prior season, HGTV has picked up 15 additional half-hour episodes of the popular series starring divorced couple Tarek and Christina El Moussa."

A new season of "Flip or Flip" apparently is not the only thing that HGTV has up its sleeve. The network recently purchased the "Brady Brunch" house and reportedly is planning to flip and restor the iconic home.

HGTV won the bid on the 11222 Dilling St. in North Hollywood, outbidding former NSYNC member Lance Bass. The network plans to expand the 2,400 square foot house to 4,000 square feet. Bass later took to Twitter to express his interest in hosting a show about the house if HGTV is planning to make one.
