AceShowbiz - Chris Pratt and girlfriend Katherine Schwarzenegger chose unusual rides to go to the latter's mom's house for a family dinner. The new couple rented electric scooters for the dinner trip and they were photographed riding the Birds on the streets of Leafy Way, Brentwood, on Sunday evening, August 5.
Chris and Katherine seemed to enjoy their rides. The latter even was seen laughing in one of the photos. During their trip, the "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor kept it simple by wearing a gray The Beatles T-shirt, jeans, brown boots and an "Avengers: Infinity War" baseball hat.
Katherine, meanwhile, opted to wear a black denim jacket which she paired with matching crop top and fitted trousers. She also sported dark sunglasses and sneakers.
After riding their eco-friendly vehicles, they had dinner with Katherine's mom Maria Shriver as well as Katherine's siblings Patrick Schwarzenegger and Chris Schwarzenegger. It is unknown if Katherine's father Arnold Schwarzenegger joined them for the dinner.
According to a source, Maria was the one who became the cupid for Chris and Katherine. "She knows Chris through mutual friends," the source revealed to E! News.
The lovebirds were first spotted going out for a romantic picnic date in Santa Barbara, California on June 17. They were spotted laughing as they sat opposite one another and tucked into sandwiches and other nibbles.
However, it turned out that the picnic was not their first date. "It's still very new between Chris and Katherine but the picnic was not their first date," the source told the site. "They have been on multiple low key dates and have been talking consistently for the last two months or so."
"They both really like each other," the source added. "Chris is smitten by Katherine and is super happy about how it's going so far."
