During her appearance on 'Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen', the actress recalls the moment the Aerosmith star flashed his racy thong in front of people.

AceShowbiz - Liv Tyler finds it "a bit weird" when her father Steven Tyler wears thong underwear.

"The Leftovers" actress made an appearance on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen" on Tuesday night (July 17) and was asked by an audience member whether her Aerosmith frontman dad ever embarrasses her in public.

In response, Liv explained that Steven, 70, and her mother Bebe Buell both have a tendency to make "cringy" statements, but it is her father's choice of underwear that really takes the cake.

"He wears a thong, sometimes that's a bit weird," she said, recalling a recent time in which he flashed his racy thong in front of a car full of people. "They do a runner after the show sometimes, which means if it is a big stadium, you get right in the car and leave to beat traffic. So, I was in the car with five friends and in came my dad's a*s first, so he took his trousers off, sat on a towel. Someone pulled them off - they were wet or something - and there was maybe a leopard thong involved. And then he started eating a sandwich, wrapped in a towel."

Host Andy then brought up Steven's confession during a talk show appearance in May that he once tried to hit on Liv's friend Cameron Diaz. Liv shared that she didn't really remember too much about the occasion but wasn't too surprised by her father's behaviour.

"I don't remember too much but he was definitely flirty," the 41-year-old sighed.

During the chat, Liv was also questioned over whether or not she ever dated her "Lord of the Rings" co-star Orlando Bloom. The brunette beauty stated that she was simply friends with the actor and was "madly in love" with her former musician beau Royston Langdon during the filming of the fantasy flicks in the early 2000s.

"Never ever ever. He's one of my oldest friends, we grew up together. No, we never dated," she smiled.
