The 'American Horror Story' star plays one of Marilyn impersonators in the four-minute video to promote the Italian luxury fashion label's fall/winter 2018 collection.

AceShowbiz - Sarah Paulson was "truly thrilled" to land a role in Prada's latest short film.

The "American Horror Story" actress stars in a newly-released four-minute movie titled "Neon Dream" to promote the Italian luxury fashion label's fall/winter 2018 collection.

Directed by Willy Vanderperre, the film is set against the backdrop of Las Vegas' Strip at night and follows model Amanda Murphy as a mysterious heroine, while Sarah portrays multiple versions of one character.

"Wearing Prada has always been an easy way to connect to myself... all parts of me," the 43-year-old said of the project, according to WWD. "So to have been asked to be part of this inventive and evocative film, which embraces the multidimensionality of womanhood, was truly thrilling."

Throughout the film, Sarah pops up in various guises, including as a valet and bartender. In one scene, "RuPaul's Drag Race" winner Violet Chachki leads a group of Marilyn Monroe impersonators, and shortly after, the actress' character is seen dressed as Marilyn, sporting a blonde wig, red lipstick and white dress in the style of the late Hollywood icon.

Sarah has long been a fan of Prada's designs and attended the world premiere of "Ocean's 8" in New York last month in a neon green dress with fringed detail from the brand.
