A source claims that 'the kids are being used as pawns' for the upcoming sequel of 2014's 'Maleficent'.

AceShowbiz - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's custody war seemingly can't get any worse. As the war continues to heat up, it reportedly starts to affect their works as Brad is against Angelina's idea to make her new movie "Maleficent 2" a family affair, much to the actress' fury.

It is said that the "Fury" actor is not allowing their children Shiloh and Knox to appear in the sequel of the 2014 Disney movie which starred his and Angelina's daughter Vivienne. "He refuses to sign off her plan to include Shiloh and Knox in 'Maleficent 2'," a source says to Daily Mail, adding that "the kids are being used as pawns."

The source reveals that the kids are supposed to join Angelina in London, where she's been filming for the movie with co-star Elle Fanning this past few weeks, before going back to L.A. with Brad. However, she changes the plans for an unknown reason.

The new report also shares more details about specific custody agreements between Angelina and Brad during Angelina's time in London. Brad is allowed to "host" one or two of the kids at a time in four hour intervals with a therapist present from June 8 to June 17. Then from June 27 until July 1, his visits with the kids increase to 10 hours a day with a therapist present.

Helmed by Joachim Ronning from a script by Linda Woolverton, Micah Fitzerman-Blue and Noah Harpster., "Maleficent 2" stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Robert Lindsay, Ed Skrein, Harris Dickinson, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple and Lesley Manville.

The official logline of "Maleficent 2" reads, "A fantasy adventure that picks up several years after 'Maleficent', in which audiences learned of the events that hardened the heart of Disney’s most notorious villain and drove her to curse a baby Princess Aurora, 'Maleficent II' continues to explore the complex relationship between the horned fairy and the soon to be Queen, as they form new alliances and face new adversaries in their struggle to protect the moors and the magical creatures that reside within."
