AceShowbiz - Former UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) star Conor McGregor is reportedly seeking a plea deal in his assault case.
The 29-year-old Irishman was charged with assault, criminal mischief, and several other criminal acts in April for allegedly attacking a bus containing rival fighters backstage at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, alongside fellow fighter Artem Lobov and more than a "dozen individuals".
Video footage appeared to show McGregor throwing a trolley at the bus - smashing a window. Three fighters were reportedly injured in the fracas.
On Thursday, June 14, McGregor appeared at the Kings County Supreme Courthouse in Brooklyn, where his lawyers told a judge they are working on a plea deal with officials at the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office. He is due back in court next month, according to ESPN.com.
