AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez has been reunited with her new party pal Melissa McCarthy on TV after dancing together at Ellen DeGeneres' recent 60th birthday bash. The comedienne has been regaling fans with tales of her "aggressive" dance moves at "Finding Dory" star Ellen's celebrity-packed celebration in February, where she took advantage of the opportunity to get down with J.Lo.

Melissa recently appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and publicly apologized for dragging Lopez around the room, but Jennifer insisted she had an "awesome" time with the Bridesmaids actress as they were brought together again on New York-based breakfast show "Today" on Wednesday, May 9.

"There's a terrible reaction that happens," Melissa explained. "First of all, I see you (Jennifer)... I'm excited, I've had, maybe, three drinks... and by three I mean more than that, and then immediately, I love dancing so much, I'm like, I got one shot at this one, and I literally lose my mind. I'm like, if I get hit by a bus tomorrow, (it doesn't matter), I'm dancing with Jennifer Lopez tonight!"

"I was like a bouncer: 'Get out of the way! Jennifer Lopez is coming through!' " the funnywoman continued, admitting she soon regretted her actions. "I'm like, 'Why am I yelling at people? She did not ask for me to do that!' " Jennifer admitted she laughed along nervously at McCarthy's unexpected actions during the party. "I was like, 'Hehe, haha, isn't Melissa funny?' " she shared, smiling as she added, "It was awesome."

And even though Melissa may regret her bold behavior on the dance floor, J.Lo appreciated her confidence as she was determined to bust a move. "This is the thing about dancing and why I love the show World of Dance (her TV competition series): people love to dance and people love to watch it," the sexy Latina said. "It's joy, it's happiness, it's emotion (all on the dance floor)..."
