AceShowbiz - Bruno Mars and Kehlani have landed on the inaugural A100 List of Influential Asian-Americans. Launched by Gold House researchers to mark the start of Asian-American Pacific Islander Heritage Month and the 50th anniversary of the first recognised usage of the term 'Asian-American', the A100 features a countdown of the most important Asian-Americans and Pacific Islanders from the past year.
As well as hitmakers Mars and Kehlani, the new A100 features actress Constance Wu, Awkwafina, comedienne Ali Wong, director Jon M. Chu, Forest Whitaker's producing partner Nina Yang Bongiovi, and Robert Lopez, the American songwriter behind The Book of Mormon, Avenue Q, "Frozen", and "Coco.
Whitaker and Pharrell Williams were among the panel members who selected the inaugural list.
The 2018 class will be feted at an event this summer in Los Angeles.
