AceShowbiz - Rumors have been swirling saying that Jennifer Lopez is ready to get engaged to boyfriend Alex Rodriguez after debuting a new track entitled "El Anillo", which translates to "The Ring". It doesn't take too long for the songstress to address the rumors in an interview with Ebro Darden on Beats 1.

"Here is what's happening," she says of the song. "Right now, the songs that I have coming out, everything that's going on with women it's a very empowering time for us. It's a good time for us. We're like, 'Yo this is not okay/this is okay, I want to be treated with respect, I want my place in your life, I want to be paid equally.' And my next two songs kind of deal with that. It's like, 'Where's my ring and where's my money?' "

Responding to the rumors, Jenny reveals that her relationship with the athlete is "good right now." She adds, "I'm not trying to rush into anything, I've done that before, to no avail. I'm a little bit more grown up now and I like to let things take their natural course. We are really kind of good for each other and are really having the best time and our kids love each other."

Jenny first debuted "El Anillo" at the 2018 Billboard Latin Music Awards, which took place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on April 26. During the award-giving show, she also debuted a live performance of the track.

Following the live performance, a music video for the track was released on April 27. It features Jenny playing an almighty queen whose affections must be won by potential suitors. "It's probably one of my favorite videos I've ever made. This is something on another level that I really love," the New York-born diva says of the visuals.
