AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian recently broke the internet again after she shared a series of very raunchy pics to promote her new fragrance. And now the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star has shared the reasons why she did that in a phone interview with E! News.

"Overall, it's a really sexy fragrance. It reminds me of summer. It just evokes sexiness to me," she tells the site, before responding to the backlash that she receives for sharing the saucy snaps. "Yes, it is definitely revealing, but I've been revealing. I don't think that's anything new. I don't get why people are so shocked when I do a revealing shoot. I do so many of them."

She continues by saying that she "did do another shoot," adding, "It was in the same art gallery... I ended up liking the more nude images better. I thought, 'There's no better time. If there's ever a time to do this, this is the product, this is the fragrance.' When you've got it, flaunt it."

The cosmetics mogul also dishes on the process of making the perfume's bottle, noting that it was awkward. "It's totally awkward because people are holding up computers and machines and walking around with these wands that are basically scanning your body," Kim recalls.

"Then we did moldings and castings of my body. You have to completely cover your body in Vaseline, which is just so sticky," she adds. "Then, they put sheets of the plaster on top and you just have to wait. Honestly, it didn't take long -- the whole thing maybe takes under an hour. It was really fun to create. Thank God, there was a shower there."

Her new fragrance will be launched on April 30.

It's been a busy week for Kim. Besides preparing for the release of her fragrance, she is also busy defending her husband Kanye West, who recently caused outrage after expressing love for President Donald Trump. In a series of tweets, the KKW Beauty founder insisted that her rapper husband is just a "free thinker."
