Red Velvet's Yeri has apparently got herself a tattoo recently. The small tattoo is revealed after fans spotted the ink on her middle finger in several photos. The tattoo appears to be a lettering, though it's unclear what is written.

Some fans soon pointed out that Yeri's tattoo is similar to the finger inks of Tiffany and Taeyeon, Girls' Generations' members who are Yeri's seniors. "so now baiscly [sic] every active group have one tatto on the same place Yeri,,from Red Velvet, Tayeon from SNSD and Chanyeol from EXO," one commented. Another agreed, writing, "Definitely influenced by Taeyeon."

Yeri is the youngest member of Red Velvet and was added to the group in March 2015 after its debut on August 1, 2014. Initially an S.M. Rookies member, the 18-year-old singer often receives backlash from haters who accused her of not being a good singer, rapper or dancer. "No matter... she is talentless she can't rap and only whisper instead sing," one commented.

Another argued, "it's actually hard to defend yeri because she's one of those case when she's clearly chosen as part of the group solely for her face hate is never good or justified but she and irene are prime target for troll."

Yeri and her groupmates recently appeared on "I Can See Your Voice 5", where she was surprised by the appearance of her high school friend. Song Han Hee, who has also participated in "School Rapper", was joined by a guy as a contestant in the February 23 episode.

"The girl is my high school friend. At first, I didn't recognize her. I'm so surprised and startled," Yeri said after she recognized her friend. Yeri's friend was revealed to be a good singer, while her partner is tone-deaf who can rap.

During the episode, Yeri's photos with Song Han Hee and her other friends were shown on the giant screen. While they hadn't met each other for several years because of Yeri's busy schedule, Song Han Hee revealed she came to the show because she wanted to make Yeri smile since the K-pop idol has been having a hard time.
