TV

The women reportedly blame Arie for the mess and are 'ready to grill Arie on 'After the Final Rose' ' which will air on Tuesday, March 6 on ABC.

AceShowbiz - It looks like Arie Luyendyk Jr. has made a very controversial final decision in season 22 of "The Bachelor". The 36-year-old race car driver/realtor allegedly has found the love of his life through the ABC dating show, but with a twist.

According to multiple sources, Arie changed his mind as he dumped the woman he proposed to at season 22 finale for the runner-up. The sources further state that he called off his engagement to the current season's winner more than a month after filming wrapped. Arie and the runner-up are now allegedly together as an item.

The Monday, February 26 episode of "The Bachelor" revealed that the contestants are now down to Becca and Lauren. However, it doesn't seem too easy to predict who gets the final rose as Arie professed his love to both of them during the final one-on-one dates.

Another source reveals to Entertainment Tonight that Arie first reached out to the runner-up when the show premiered in January. During that time, he was still with the woman he proposed to at the finale. Arie and the runner-up allegedly had emotional conversations which seemingly led him to calling off his engagement to his then-fiancee.

Despite the shocking development, the two ladies reportedly are getting along just fine. The source also claims that the other contestants are not blaming the runner-up and have stayed friends with her, instead, they put the blame on the Bachelor.

"There's not a rift between Becca and Lauren. Arie put them in this situation," the source shares. "They're very different but both well-liked by all the women, and both of them really cared for Arie. He said 'I love you' to them both, and it really seems like he did it more to get his own emotions affirmed. A lot of the women feel he's selfish."

As for the "After the Final Rose", "Becca and Lauren will handle themselves really well." The source adds, "They're class acts. For Arie, it's going to be a bloodbath. A lot of the women don't think his playboy tendencies have gone away. Will he last with anyone?"

Another source claims that "the women are ready to grill Arie on 'After the Final Rose'." The source goes on sharing, "[The woman Arie dumped] didn't expect it at all. [Season 22 winner] totally felt blindsided, and it's sad because she's a great person. She's such a pure soul."

"The Bachelor" season 22 airs its three-hour finale on Monday, March 5 followed by "After the Final Rose" on Tuesday on ABC.
