The footage teases the possibility of a new musical number performed by Aubrey Plaza's Lenny and Jemaine Clement's Oliver.

AceShowbiz - Are you ready for the new season of "Legion"? FX has finally given fans their first look at the sophomore season of the hit Marvel-related series which is featured in the network's 2018 sizzle reel.

The footage sees Dan Stevens's psychokinetic David Haller reuniting with Syd (Rachel Keller) and Ptonomy (Jeremie Harris) as the trio is seen looking stern with the latter holding a firegun in his hands. David is also featured being trapped inside of the orb much like Oliver (Jemaine Clement) was trapped in his own prison in the first season.

"I wanted to be normal," David says. "Any of this look normal to you?"

The footage also teases the possibility of a new musical number performed by Aubrey Plaza's Lenny and Oliver. Meanwhile, Bill Irwin's Cary advises viewers to open their minds.

Navid Negahban ("Homeland") will take over the role of the Shadow King a.k.a. Amahl Farouk from Said Taghmaoui ("Wonder Woman") in the new season. It means that Farouk will leave his previous victims, which include Oliver, David and Lenny, for a different prey.

"Dan Stevens and Aubrey Plaza. These two were kind of babysitting me," Negahban previously talked about joining the series to The Huffington Post. "Aubrey was guiding me [on] what was the journey of the character. A beautiful, sweet group of people to work with. I just love them. They took me in, I don't know, like an orphan, and they gave me a home."

The first season of "Legion" saw David being captured and carted off by a mysterious floating device after seemingly defeating the Shadow King. The upcoming season 2 reportedly will feature a big jump with the intention to make viewers feel as disoriented as David does.

The highly-anticipated season 2 of "Legion" is scheduled to premiere this April on FX.
