Are Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes an item? The "Havana" hitmaker and the "Stitches" singer appear to be reigniting their romance rumors after being photographed cozying up to each other in what looks like a date.
In photos obtained by The Blast, the pair were seen having a pizza date at Artichoke Pizza in New York on Saturday evening, January 27. The two sat next to each other very closely, with Camila positioning herself to directly face the 19-year-old singer-songwriter.
In another photo, Shawn, who sported a black shirt featuring kissy lips print, was snapped holding hands with the 20-year-old songstress. The two seemingly had an intimate conversation as the "Never Be the Same" singer was seen leaning in towards Shawn, who was comfortably resting his back and arms on his chair while sweetly gazing at Camila.
The outing came shortly before they arrived at Clive Davis's annual pre-Grammy's gala. At the bash, the paired seemed to be deliberately never crossing paths.
Camila and Shawn first sparked dating rumors back in September 2015 following flirty exchanges on social media. The rumors went stronger after the pair released a collaborative track "I Know What You Did Last Summer". However, Shawn was so quick to shut down the rumors, insisting that they were just "close friends." He told PEOPLE, "She is one of those people who is just very easy to connect with and still, to this day, is one of my greatest friends. You find that instant connection with people, and she's one of them."
The Canadian heartthrob continued, "She's a f***ing great writer. Even if we just wrote for other people, I would be happy to do that because she's such a thrill to write with and work with."
While it remains to be seen if Shawn and Camila are an item, the former is romantically linked to Hailey Baldwin in recent days. "It started out casual as they would run into each other at parties and hangout," a source previously spoke of Shawn and the model. "But most recently it's become more serious. They are definitely dating and spend a lot of time together."
