AceShowbiz - Ewan McGregor is making it official. The "Fargo" star filed for divorce from Eve Mavrakis, his wife of 22 years, on Friday, January 19.
According to TMZ, McGregor cites "irreconcilable differences" as the reason why the actor wants to end his marriage to the production designer. It is also said that McGregor seeks joint custody of the pair's three minor children. Meanwhile, Mavrakis is said to file at the same time and seek sole physical custody with the 46-year-old actor getting visitation.
McGregor and Mavrakis, who reportedly have separated since May 2017, share four children together, Clara (21), Jmyan (16), Esther (15) and Anouck (6). The divorce comes after McGregor was caught kissing his "Fargo" co-star Mary Elizabeth Winstead in a cafe in North West London back in 2017.
The split definitely breaks the hearts of McGregor and Mavrakis' children with one of them taking to Instagram to slam her dad over his cheating scandal. Esther uploads on the photo-sharing platform a video of her strumming her guitar and singing a song, which is titled "Made You a Man", about "dumbs**t that I found online." It seems like she is referencing to the pictures of her father and Elizabeth Winstead which she says "make her cry."
She goes on singing, "Happy birthday to me, am I right?" The photos hit the web on October 22, which is her birthday. Esther continues, "I don't know to forgive. I don't know if I can. Ruining me."
Elizabeth Winstead, meanwhile, announced her split from director Riley Stearns in May 2017 after seven years of marriage. The "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" actress was last pictured having an emotional dinner with McGregor back in November at Palihouse in West Hollywood, where the actor was seen wiping tears from her face.
