There has been rumor swirling about potential "The Office" revival which is set to air in 2018-2019 TV season, making fans of the hit NBC series feel excited just by imagining it to come to be true. While the revival has yet to be confirmed, one of its stars says that she's open to return.

During an interview at the Television Critics Association press tour, Jenna Fischer, who played Pam Beesly on "The Office", addressed the issue. "I don't know anything about 'The Office' revival. I know as much as anyone else," she said on Monday, January 8.

"I don't know. I think that's for networks to figure out if I were to be asked," Jenna, who was promoting her new ABC comedy "Splitting Up Together", continued saying.

While she revealed that she hadn't "been approached about it," the actress didn't rule out the possibility of her reprising her role. "I love Pam!" she said. "I think the idea of an 'Office' revival is--I think it's a great idea. I would be honored to come back in any way that I'm able to. I loved playing that character."

"As long as Greg Daniels is the person in charge and the visionary behind it, then I would absolutely up for it," Jenna added. "We just have to get Mindy [Mindy Kaling] to write some episodes, B.J. Novak, Gene Stupnitsky, Lee Eisenberg, Mike Schur. That show was so great because of the talent involved in the show, behind the scenes, not just on the screen."

Starring Steve Carell, Rainn Wilson and John Krasinski, "The Office" aired on NBC from March 24, 2005 to May 16, 2013. The series, which was an adaptation of a BBC series of the same name, nabbed five Emmys, including Outstanding Comedy Series in 2006.

While it's still unknown whether fans will see Jenna once again playing fan-favorite Pam, the "You, Me and the Apocalypse" actress can next be seen on "Splitting Up Together" which premieres on Tuesday, March 27 on ABC.
