AceShowbiz - SM Entertainment has announced that its "SM Station 2" last release of the year will be a concert audio featuring all the label's artists, including SHINee's Jonghyun who died earlier this month. The entertainment label shared on December 28 that the title for the 38th track of the second season of the project would be "Dear My Family".
The song will also get a music video. A rep for the company shared, "The 'Dear My Family' music video will give a glimpse of photos with behind-the-scenes of the artists from the concert," adding that Jonghyun's voice and images of him performing would also be featured.
"Dear My Family" is an R'n'B ballad track that was produced by Yoo Young Jin in 2001. The "SM Station" release will be an audio of the label's artists such as BoA, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee and EXO performing the song at "SMTOWN LIVE TOUR V in Japan" back in August last year.
The song will be released on December 29, and the proceeds from the track will be donated to UNICEF.
Jonghyun passed away on December 18 after being found unconscious in a residential hotel. Police believe that he died from inhaling toxic fumes. The late singer was gearing up for his comeback before his death and reportedly had done filming the music video for his comeback song.
An insider who worked with Jonghyun on the set of the music video revealed that his new song "had a bright vibe. He seemed the same usual on the music video set. I couldn't feel at all that he was struggling all this time."
Gregory Hwang, an SM Entertainment Producer Director from BeatBurger, recently uploaded on Instagram the singer's never-before-seen dance practice video, where he was seen dancing to an upbeat song shirtless. "The guy who made the choreography isn't picking up so I'm just going to upload it. My boy is so good at dancing," so Gregory wrote in the caption.
