AceShowbiz - After teasing it in several posters and a teaser video, EXO has finally released a music video for their new song "Universe". The clip oozes a warm cafe theme with the members playing baristas. They look pensive as they gather around some tables while having coffee.

The song is a rock ballad which talks about how one would go to the ends of the universe to find his lover. In some scenes, the members are depicted as being tied on a chair before they break free to reflect the song's lyrics.

"Universe" is lifted off EXO's winter album off the same title "Universe" which is released on the same day of the music video premiere, December 26. It was initially set to arrive on December 21, but was pushed back a few days in respects to SHINee's Jonghyun, who died on December 18 and was laid to rest three days later.

EXO and other S.M. Entertainment artists Red Velvet and NCT 127, recently paid tribute to the late singer at the 2017 SBS Gayo Daejun by wearing a black ribbon with the words "R.I.P JH" written on it. The words were written in pearl aqua, which is the color of SHINee fandom.

During the annual show which was held at the Gocheok Sky Dome, Seoul on December 25, EXO performed their hit songs "Ko Ko Bop", "Run This" and "Power". Other stars taking the stage at the concert included BTS a.k.a. Bangtan Boys, TWICE, GOT7 and Blackpink.

EXO has another album set to be released in the coming weeks. Titled "Countdown", their first full-length Japanese album will feature 10 tracks, four of which are brand new songs while the rest are Japanese version of their previous songs such as "Love Me Right" and "Lightsaber". It will hit the shelves on January 24.
