AceShowbiz - Following recent Instagram photo that gave a glimpse of his new tattoo, Chanyeol finally revealed the body art in full at EXO's concert on Sunday, November 26. The 25-year-old star showed off the ink on his wrist which expressed his love for EXO's fans.
The tattoo seemed to be the car plate "L-1485" which was featured in the music video of EXO's "Ko Ko Bop", but it actually has a deeper meaning. It turns out that "L" stands for "EXO-L", the name of the group's official fan club, while the number refers to August 5, 2014, the date on which the fan club was first created.
After baring the tattoo, Chanyeol shouted to fans, "All of you will always be a part of my body until the day I die."
Chanyeol's appreciation to his fans is equal to the love his fans have shown for him. On his birthday, November 27, fans were sending out much love for the "Let Me Love You" singer via Twitter with the hashtag #HappyChanyeolDay, making it no. 1 trend worldwide.
EXO recently wrapped up their third world tour, "EXO Planet #4 - The Elyxion". The three-day concert took place in Seoul's Gocheok Sky Dome. It began on November 24 and ended on 26.
The nine-piece group is set to release their debut Japanese album titled "COUNTDOWN". They have released music video teasers for the title track, where the members are seen interacting with mysterious elements. In one teaser, Chanyeol, is seen suffering from electrocution and later transforming into a demonic figure. The album will be released on January 24, 2018.
Prior to that, the "Ko Ko Bop" hitmaker will drop a new Christmas special album in December. "EXO is planning on releasing a Christmas special album in December. Please look forward to it," a representative for SM Entertainment said in a statement.
