'Dancing with the Stars' Week 5 Recap: Disney Night With Snow White and More, First Perfect Score

A couple earned perfect score after performing a Foxtrot while embracing their inner Moana with 'You're Welcome' as the background song.

AceShowbiz - The Monday, October 16 episode of "Dancing with the Stars" featured stars channeling their inner Disney princesses and princes. The Disney night saw Snow White dancing a Waltz, Ariel dancing a Rumba as well as Moana dancing a Foxtrot.

Victoria Arlen and Valentin Chmerkovskiy kicked off the night, dancing a Jazz to "Steamboat Willie". They threw everything back in a black-and-white dance and judge Len Goodman said, "Just like a Disney movie… full of joy…I thought it was fabulous." Carrie Ann Inaba loved the synchronicity. The former paralympian swimmer earned 27 points out of 30.

Following it up were Vanessa Minnillo a.k.a. Vanessa Lachey and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Donning Snow White costumes, the pair did a waltz to "Un Jour Mon Prince Viendra", an original soundtrack from "Snow White". Bruno Tonioli praised the couple, saying that it was both timeless and elegant. Len added, "I absolutely loved that." Vanessa got 28 points, including a 10 from Len.

Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas were up next, performing a Foxtrot to "When You Wish Upon a Star" from "Pinocchio". Carrie Ann gushed, "This was classic, and it was stunning. It was such a transformation for you … Just beautiful, incredible dancing with one of the finest holds I've ever seen." Bruno concluded, "I felt like I was bathing in stardust … You captured timeless style and elegance, like Fred Astaire meets Disney." The judges gave them 28 points.

Nick Lachey and Peta Murgatroyd, meanwhile, opted to dance a Quickstep to "The Bare Necessities" from "The Jungle Book". Bruno "loved the sense of fun," adding, "You lost the step a couple of times, but don't lose what you have achieved, which is the spirit of it … This is the right direction, you're embracing the performance." They earned 22 points.

Dancing a Viennese Waltz to "Rainbow Connection" from "The Muppet Movie" were Drew Scott and Emma Slater. Bruno was impressed by Drew's progress as he praised the couple, "I was expecting Gonzo, but got Prince Charming! … You're getting more and more polished every week." Carrie Ann added, "You two have become one of my favorite couples … The chemistry between you is absolutely pure." Drew got 25 points.

Sasha Pieterse and Gleb Savchenko later took the stage to dance a Rumba. Sasha, who was clad in an Ariel costume, danced beautifully to "Kiss the Girl" from "The Little Mermaid". "I love the way your body interprets these dances. I was mesmerized," Carrie Ann said. The actress earned 24 points.

Terrell Owens and Cheryl Burke, meanwhile, did a Quickstep to "I Just Can't Wait to Be King" from "The Lion King". Len said, "For a big guy you dance with speed and control … Well done." Similarly, Bruno added, "You definitely looked like the leader of the pride! … Even the footwork was much, much better than usual." Terrell got 25 points.

Frankie Muniz and Witney Carson channeled their inner "sexy" pirates as they danced an Argentine Tango to "Angelica" from "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides". Carrie Ann loved the performance as she said, "Frankie, you've got some pirate game going on! I did see one mistake, but it wasn't you, Frankie, it was Whitney … You nailed it." The former child actor earned 29 points with Carrie Ann gave a 10 despite the mistake.

Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold opted for a Foxtrot. Backed with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's "You're Welcome" from "Moana", the pair delivered a mesmerizing performance. "You are unstoppable. Your talent is so undeniable … You delivered it so perfectly," Carrie Ann said. Bruno added, "This is how you would dance foxtrot in the 21st century … You kept the technique absolutely perfect." The pair got first perfect 30 points of the season!

Rounding out the night were Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev. They danced a Jazz to "Remember Me" from upcoming movie "Coco". Len said, "That dance summed up the whole night, so joyous and full of fun," before adding that it was Nikki's best dance. "You introduced us to something so fantastic … The way you executed it was so pure," Carrie Ann said. The pair got 27 points.

Frankie & Witney and Sasha & Gleb were the two couples put in jeopardy. However, at the end, it was announced that Sasha and Gleb were eliminated.
