The quartet goes trick-or-treating on Halloween night, when they have an unexpected encounter with the serial killer of the 'Halloween' franchise, or at least a girl with a Michael Myers mask.

AceShowbiz - The very first clip from season 2 of "Stranger Things" has just been unearthed through the show's mobile game which came out earlier this week. It turns out that the 8-bit-inspired mobile game is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow as once you beat the game, it will unlock a clip from the new season of the hit Netflix series.

The new clip shows that Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Will (Noah Schnapp) are getting spooked on Halloween night in Hawkins. The clip opens with an old lady opening a door for the gang, who shouts, "Trick-or-treat!" The lady later responds, "Well, aren't you cute? Little exterminators...," while offering a bowl of Three Musketeers bars.

The quartet later gets into a debate, talking about how most of them hate the chocolate bars, though Dustin strongly disagrees. They continue arguing until they encounter new character Max, played by Sadie Sink. The mischievous little sister of Dacre Montgomery's Billy dresses as Michael Myers, the serial killer of the "Halloween" franchise.

All the boys are screaming at the top of their lungs in fright. "Holy s**t! You should've seen the look on your faces," teases Max while laughing.

Series creator Matt Duffer previously noted that season 2 would be different from the first season, which mainly focused on finding Will (Noah Schnapp) and defeating the demogorgon. Season 2 of "Stranger Things" would feature several disparate storylines that all revolved around something called the "shadow monster," a nickname given to a giant creature Will first meets in PTSD-like visions of the Upside Down.

"It's all connected to this singular threat, which is tied into this shape that Will sees in the sky," Ross revealed. Matt further explained that season 2 would have its episodes "building on the last on," before adding, "It gets much crazier than it ever got in season 1."

"Stranger Things" season 2 premieres on Friday, October 27 on Netflix.
