The 1-minute long trailer seemingly hints that Prometheus' prophecy about Oliver's son William will be coming to pass.

AceShowbiz - The CW has released a new trailer for the upcoming season 6 of "Arrow". The dark video hints that things are different from what they used to be following the explosive season 5 finale, in which Adrian Chase a.k.a. Prometheus killed himself.

The trailer seemingly shows that Adrian's chilling prophecy regarding Oliver's son is poised to come to pass. Right before his death, the villain, who has been targeting Oliver for the last few seasons, says that he will make Oliver's son William see who his father really is. And much to Oliver's horror, the new trailer sees the kid pointing at him and calling him the "bad man" he sees in his dreams.

Also hinted in the trailer is that a new threat is coming to the Star City. A mysterious man in dress shoes is stepping out of a helicopter. Fans are also treated to some scenes featuring Slade Wilson a.k.a. Deathstroke and both Black Canary and Black Siren.

The first episode of the upcoming season is titled "Fallout". The official description of the episode reads, "Oliver (Stephen Amell) deals with the fallout of the explosion on the island."

Previously, Amell teased that the new season would feature the Emerald Archer shaking things up in a new suit. "You will see a new Arrow suit this year," said Amell during a recent Q&A at the Heroes & Villains FanFest in New Jersey.

He also said that Arrow would showcase a new trick during a two-night crossover event with "The Flash", "Supergirl" and "DC's Legends of Tomorrow". "I like the arrow that I use in the crossover this year," he said. As for his favorite trick, Amell shared that he liked "the bolo arrow a lot."

"Arrow" returns for season 6 on Thursday, October 12 at 9 P.M. on The CW.
