Arie Luyendyk Jr. officially begins his journey to search a love on "The Bachelor" season 22. Producer Mike Fleiss took to Twitter to share a photo taken from the show's first evening filming.

Arie kicked off the filming of the new season of the ABC dating show on Wednesday, September 20. The photo featured the 36-year-old race car driver looking dapper in a black suit. "Guess who's back? Back again. Arie's back. Tell a friend. #TheBachelor #JanuArie," Mike captioned the photo.

Mike further teased about the upcoming season. "Fantastic group of women. @ariejr has got some tough choices to make tonite... #thebachelor," he wrote.

Arie, who appeared in Emily Maynard's season of "The Bachelorette", recently guest starred on "Good Morning America". He told host Michael Strahan that the timing of the offer "just really fit." ABC executive Robert Mills explained in a separate interview fan-favorite Peter Kraus agreed with the idea of the Arizona native being the next Bachelor.

"It was such an emotional roller coaster. I didn't feel like I had enough time to process the season and 'After the Final Rose', and where I was at in my own life at the time," Peter shared last week. "I needed more time for clarity. I'm the type of person who needs maybe too much time to process things when it comes to life and love...when I'm talking about my wife and my future, I want to take time to really think about it."

As for what kind of lady he is looking for, Arie previously said on "GMA" that he's looking for a woman who's "Independent, strong, but then still gentle." The son of Indy 500 champ Arie Luyendyk added, "Obviously, there's got to be that chemistry there. Emily and I had it previously and I'm hoping to find that type of love, for sure."
