'Arrow' Season 6 to Feature New Suit and Trick

In addition, Stephen Amell teases that Oliver Queen will be much happier in the new season as he says, 'Oliver actually this season is a very contented individual.'
A lot of things will be different when "Arrow" returns for season 6. Following the explosive season 5 finale, the Emerald Archer is poised to shake things up in a new suit, according to star Stephen Amell.

"You will see a new Arrow suit this year," said Amell during a recent Q&A at the Heroes & Villains FanFest in New Jersey. Arrow had several different costumes over the duration of the series as the last two seasons featured new outfits for the vigilante superhero. Fans surely can't wait to see the new costume.

In addition, Amell teased that Arrow would be getting a new trick in season 6. The actor revealed that it would be featured in the upcoming crossover with "The Flash", "Supergirl" and "DC's Legends of Tomorrow". "I like the arrow that I use in the crossover this year," he said. As for his favorite trick, Amell shared that he liked "the bolo arrow a lot."

Amell further suggested that it's not only Arrow's equipment that would undergo changes. "It's a strange thing. Oliver actually this season is a very contented individual," the actor shared, before adding, "At least so far. Methinks that will probably change, based on just 120some episodes of history. But I've seen three episodes and he's smiling a lot moreā€¦ It's nice as an actor to not be a stick in the mud all the time."

Slade Wilson a.k.a. Deathstroke (Manu Bennett) is set to return for the new season. He will be making his official comeback to the show in the episode 605 which is titled "Deathstroke Returns". The fan-favorite villain will also reunite with one of his sons, Joe Wilson. "Lucifer" alum Liam Hall is cast to play the character, who is described as someone who "has followed in his father's footsteps by joining the secret Australian military agency, A.S.I.S. After years of brutal combat, Joe now finds himself in a remote Kasnian prison under the alias, Kane Wolfman, fighting for his life."

"Arrow" returns for season 6 on Thursday, October 12 at 9 P.M. on The CW.
