Lady GaGa got a bad news for Little Monsters in Montreal, Canada. The "Paparazzi" singer took to Twitter on Monday, September 4 to announce that she wouldn't be performing on the scheduled gig in the city. She claimed she has been feeling ill since her recent show at Citi Field, New York, where she performed in the rain.

"To my beautiful fans, I couldn't be more devastated that I am unable to perform tonight," she wrote. "I sing this entire show live, and pride myself in giving it all, but when I sang in the rain at Citi Field I got sick and have been pushing through. I am so sorry to anyone who had their heart set on seeing me tonight. I love you. Xoxo, Joanne."

A joint statement from Live Nation and Evenko has also been released. "Unfortunately tonight's Lady Gaga Joanne World Tour Concert has been postponed," it read. "Hoping not to disappoint her fans, Lady Gaga took today to rest but unfortunately, has now been instructed by her doctor that she will need to reschedule this evening's show due to respiratory infection and laryngitis."

GaGa later tweeted her plan to send pizzas to her fans who waited outside her hotel. "I'm sending free [pizza] to any monsters outside my hotel The William Gray Montreal," she wrote. "I love u so much & I'm so sorry u are the most loyal fans."

GaGa was initally set to perform at Montreal's Bell Centre as a part of her world tour before calling off the show. A rescheduled date is currently in the works. The singer is expected to resume the tour in Toronto on September 6 and 7 before heading to Philadelphia.

The singer recently revealed that she's already working on her sixth studio album while hitting the road. "I've started writing. I'll let ya know," she shared. "I have a lot of ideas and a lot of things I want to create, so you'll see in a bit. I need some time to create."
