Described as a 'rolling menace,' the adorably evil First Order droid has squarer domed head and looks threatening with his red eye.

AceShowbiz - The newest droid in "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" is just too cute to be evil. Thanks to Force Friday II's slate of newly-unveiled "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" toys, a brand new, evil BB-8 droid called BB-9E has been revealed.

Sphero, the company behind the remote-controlled rolling BB-8 toy released in tandem with "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", has made his First Order's counterpart BB-9E. The adorably evil black droid has squarer domed head and looks menacing with his red eye.

While little else is known about the role BB-9E will play in the upcoming "Star Wars" film, Sphero describes the new droid as a "rolling menace." Additionally, the toy company introduces a droid toy based on the most famous "Star Wars" droid R2-D2.

"Star Wars: The Last Jedi" is scheduled to arrive in theaters across the nation on December 15 this year. It's directed by Ryan Johnson from a script he wrote. It stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie and Andy Serkis in returning roles.

Fisher died in December 2016, making "The Last Jedi" her final film role. New cast members in the upcoming film include Benicio del Toro as an unnamed character, Laura Dern as an officer in the Resistance named Amilyn Holdo, and Kelly Marie Tran as Finn's new friend, Rose Tico.

Recently, a new image of "The Last Jedi" featuring Hamill's Luke Skywalker hinted at his turn to the dark side. He's wearing an all-black jedi outfit and his expression is somewhat mysterious and vacant in the ominous picture, sparking speculations that he may turn to the dark side in the upcoming movie.

After appearing briefly in "The Force Awakens", Luke will have a bigger role in "The Last Jedi". Hamill previously said, "[Luke] made a huge mistake in thinking that his nephew was the chosen one, so he invested everything he had in Kylo, much like Obi-Wan did with my character, and he is betrayed, with tragic consequences."

"Luke feels responsible for that," the actor added. "That's the primary obstacle he has to rejoining the world and his place in the Jedi hierarchy, you know? It's that guilt, that feeling that it's his fault, that he didn't detect the darkness in him until it was too late."
