AceShowbiz - Ahead of its season 2 premiere, "Stranger Things" has been having fun spoofing classic movies that inspired the 1980s-set series with its posters. This time, the hit Netflix show is paying tribute to "Alien" in yet another awesome poster shared on the show's Twitter account.
The poster features the iconic terrifying pod which is identical to the one in the Ridley Scott-directed 1979 classic movie. "In The Upside Down, no one can hear you scream," the tagline reads, referencing to "Alien" tagline, "In space no one can hear you scream."
Along with the epic poster, the account writes, "This is Will Byers [Noah Schnapp]. Only survivor of The Upside Down. Signing on. #StrangerThursdays begin now." Fans can quickly tell that it echoes Ellen Ripley's lines toward the end of the movie. "This is Ripley, last survivor of the Nostromo, signing off," Sigourney Weaver's Ellen says.

Star Millie Bobby Brown teased that the upcoming sophomore season would be "very, very crazy." She continued, "I think the show has pivotal moments, things that fans will not expect. These episodes will definitely give people a great season-a binge-worthy season, for sure."
Echoing the Emmy-winning actress, co-creators Matt and Ross Duffer revealed that season 2 would be "bigger." Ross shared, "I told Matt, 'I don't want to call it season two, I just want it to feel like a movie sequel.' If you have a successful movie, No. 2 is always a little bit bigger." However, the Duffer brothers surprisingly said that the series would not last more than four seasons. "We're thinking it will be a four-season thing and then out," said Ross.
Also starring Finn Wolfhard, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Sean Astin, Paul Reiser, Dacre Montgomery and Sadie Sink, "Stranger Things" season 2 premieres on Friday, October 27 on Netflix.
