New 'Thor: Ragnarok' International Trailer Features Doctor Strange
Movie

The latest sneak-peek video reveals Doctor Strange's role in the upcoming movie as he predicts Thor's future.

AceShowbiz -

Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) has been reported to make appearance in "Thor: Ragnarok", but it's not until now that we know what role he plays in the movie. A new trailer of the film which is released for Japanese audience offers a glimpse of the Sorcerer Supreme.

Strange and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) have a conversation in the Sanctum Sanctorum. It appears that the scene takes place early in the movie as Thor still rocks his long hair. "Thor, I sense a great change in your future. Destiny has dire plans for you my friend," Strange predicts Thor's future. Thor replies, "I have dire plans for destiny."

This, however, is not Strange and Thor's first encounter since the post-credits scene in "Doctor Strange" featured Thor paying a visit to the sorcerer's New York resident.

The next scene in the trailer shows the fall of Thor and Asgard at the hands of Hela (Cate Blanchett). Thor later assembles a team which consists of himself, Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), to save Asgard.

In this third "Thor" movie, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok -the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization - at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger - the Incredible Hulk!

Also starring in the film are Idris Elba as Heimdall, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, and Karl Urban as Skurge. Directed by Taika Waititi and produced by Kevin Feige, the superhero flick is set to be released November 3 in the United States.
