Olivia Rodrigo Surprises Fans With New 'Guts World Tour' Dates

Amid her busy schedule for her world tour, the 'Can't Catch Me Now' songstress announces additional tour dates in a number of cities in Asia and Australia.

AceShowbiz - Olivia Rodrigo may have put smiles on her devotees' faces with her new announcement. Amid her busy schedule for her "Guts World Tour", the "Drivers License" hitmaker surprised her fans with new tour dates.

On Wednesday, May 8, the 21-year-old singer/songwriter made use of her social media page to announce the additional tour dates. She took to Instagram to upload a photo featuring a list of the new dates. In the picture, it could be seen that she has added new dates for her concerts in several cities in Asia and Australia.

Olivia is set to take the stage in Bangkok on September 16, in Seoul on September 20, in Hong Kong on September 24, in Tokyo on September 27 and in Singapore on October 1. For the Australian leg of the tour, she will perform in Melbourne on October 9 and 11 as well as in Sydney on October 17 and 18.

Aside from the tour dates, Olivia revealed that she has a special guest performer for her shows in Melbourne and Sydney. She will be joined by Benee, a singer/songwriter from Auckland, New Zealand. In addition, she hinted that she has a surprise for her fans in Manila as the poster featured a graphic of a star with a message that read, "STAY TUNED MANILA!"

Along with the announcement, the "Can't Catch Me Now" songstress gushed over the European leg of the tour in the caption of the post. She exclaimed, "Europe leg of the GUTS world tour has been wonderful so far!!!! so much luv for everyone who has been coming 2 jump and sing and scream!!!" Near the end, she concluded, "Asia and Australia dates just announced!!! hope to see ya there!!!" adding a slew of kiss marks emojis.

Later on, Olivia faced complaints from her fans for leaving out several cities in Australia. In the comments section, one in particular sarcastically wrote, "So you take a new zealand artist with you but don't come to new zealand ? funny that." Another penned, "This is so funny of you to accidentally leave off the brisbane dates! so silly!!!" A third added, "I'm so sick of being a Perth fan."
