Dethroning Ariana Grande, Obama now owns six out of ten most-liked tweets in Twitter history, with Ellen DeGeneres coming at #3 with her famed 2014's Oscar we-fie.
Obama posted the tweet on Saturday, August 12 in the aftermath of the violent rally which killed three innocent people. The tweet featured a heartwarming picture of Obama smiling at four kids from different ethnicity background. He captioned the photo with a quote from Nelson Mandela's 1994 autobiography "Long Walk to Freedom". " 'No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion…,' " Obama captioned the photo.

The picture was taken at a day care facility in Bethesda, Maryland on June 9, 2011. It was pictured by the White House photographer at that time, Pete Souza.
The tweet dethroned Ariana Grande, who previously had the title of the most-liked tweet with her tweet about a terrorist attack at her Manchester concert earlier this year. With this, Obama now owns six out of ten most-liked tweets in history, with Ellen DeGeneres coming at #3 with her famed 2014's Oscar we-fie, featuring Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Brad Pitt, Meryl Streep and more.

Obama nabbed the fourth to seventh positions as well as the ninth, with two of them being the last tweets he posted via @POTUS44 account. Linkin Park's photographic ode to the late lead singer Chester Bennington bowed at eighth, while Hillary Clinton's post-2016 election tweet directed to young girls rounded out the top 10 most-liked tweets.
