If you're Ariana Grande fans, then you definitely know the pop star's signature high ponytail. So, it came as a surprise for everyone when the "Side to Side" hitmaker recently rocked purple bob hair in Japan. Ariana has shared on Instagram a boomerang video of her looking almost unrecognizable with lilac-colored hair.
The former Nickelodeon star pulled her shoulder-grazing purple hair back into a low ponytail and fringe bangs. Wearing smokey eyeshadows and nude lipstick, she topped off her new Harajuku look with a cat filter as she sat in the backseat of a car while driving through Tokyo.
During her Tokyo outing, Ariana apparently brought along her boyfriend Mac Miller. The rapper has posted on Instagram a photo, which saw purple-head Ariana leaning into his side. Mac sweetly captioned the snap with a Ying and Yang emoji.
The songstress' last major hair change was when she dyed her locks ombre blonde last year. While the new purple hair seemed to suit her well, it turned out to be a wig. Ariana later posted another boomerang clip, which found her pouting for the camera while rocking her natural brunette tresses.
