The former 'Dancing with the Stars' contestant was playing his first gig since coming out of the closet at a bar, which 'has strong history in the LGBT community,' in Florida.

AceShowbiz - Aaron Carter is back to performing a week after he came out as a bisexual. The "Crazy Little Party Girl" hitmaker's first gig since his revelation was at a popular gay bar Hamburger Mary's in Brandon, Florida. The national chain bar, according to its official website, has a "strong history in the LGBT community." It's famous for its drag queen shows, burgers and "open-minded people."

Aaron took to Instagram to announce the show, which was held on Thursday night, August 10. "See you Thursday at this almost sold out pop up show in my hometown! Love y'all," so he wrote in the caption. While Aaron just came out as a bisexual a few days ago, he actually booked the gig a month ago, according to TMZ. The singer performed for about an hour, and the performances included his classic hit and newer songs.

On August 5, Aaron came out of the closet with a statement on Twitter. "I grew up in this entertainment industry at a very young age and when I was around 13-years-old I started to fins boys and girls attractive," he shared. "There were years that went by that I thought about, but it wasn't until I was 17-years-old , after a few relationships with girls, I had an experience with a male that I had an attraction to who I also worked with and grew up with."

A day after his emotional tweet, Aaron was reported to be breaking up with Madison Parker. He recently confirmed the split, claiming that Madison wasn't supportive of his sexuality. "I had discussed it with my ex-girlfriend, and she didn't really understand it. She didn't want [to]," he said. "And that was it. So we left it mutual and parted ways."
