It's been 10 years since Girls' Generation performed "Into the New World" for the first time. The "I Got a Boy" hitmakers reminisced about their 10-year journey as a group during a "LieV" live broadcast titled "Girls' Generation 10th Anniversary Pajama Party" on Monday, August 7.
The members couldn't believe that it's been 10 years since their debut. "I never thought we would be celebrating our 10th anniversary," Hyoyeon admitted. "I thought time went by pretty fast," Tae Yeon added, while Sooyoung said, "I still can't believe we spent ten years together."
Meanwhile, Tiffany (II) revealed how the members' solo activities made things feel exciting. "I used to think that the age I am now would be a long time away. Now that I think about it, some of us are going into acting or going solo so it still feels new and exciting," she shared.
Similarly, Sooyoung felt that they're still young at heart. "At the time of our debut, we were asked often how do we see ourselves in ten years and it feels like we still have a long way to go and are adults but a child at heart," the "My Spring Days" actress said.
They also discussed their favorite tracks off their ninth album "Holiday Night", before reading some comments written by their fans. At the end of the broadcast, Girls' Generation thanked fans and told them that they would start promoting their title tracks "All Night" and "Holiday" on music shows.
Sooyoung later took to Instagram to post adorable photos from the broadcast. One of the photos saw them lying on top of each other while smiling at the camera, while another featured all members sleeping in bed. “I'm happy too #girlsgeneration #goodnight,†she captioned the pics.
Yoona, meanwhile, shared a photo of them lying in their beds while striking cute poses for the camera.
