JYJ needs to find a way to clear their name. After all three members Hero Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun and Xiah Junsu were involved in various scandals, people no longer want to see the group together again.
During the press conference of Jaejoong's upcoming drama "Manhole", the "Love You More" singer talked about JYJ's possible comeback. "Because the members of JYJ all enlisted in the military at different times, we need up to a maximum of four years before we come back together," he revealed.
"Right now, Junsu is enlisted as a conscripted policeman," Jaejoong explained. "We’re currently in a situation where we have to wait for Junsu to be discharged from the army, so it will be difficult for [JYJ] to make a comeback for a while."
People reacted to Jaejoong's words harshly, saying that JYJ should just disband. "Four years? Don't even think of coming back to promote. You assaulted a fan, Kim Junsu has his hotel scandal, and Park Yoochun has the toilet," a commenter wrote on an article on Nate. "He actually had plans to reunite? Shameless," another added.
Another commenter felt that JYJ was already over since the scandals happened. "They're pretty much disbanded already. They really think they can take Park Yoochun and comeback? Impossible. I think he knows that too and just used the army as an excuse for how long it'll take," the commenter stated.
Back in 2012, an audio footage of JYJ's conversation with a stalker surfaced online. Although there was no video footage, the audio suggested that Jaejoong cursed and assaulted the stalker. Yoochun was also heard cursing at the stalker.
Last year, Yoochun was sued for sexual assault by four different women who claimed to be raped. The women's statements indicated that Yoochun had a fetish for having sexual intercourse in a bathroom. Junsu, meanwhile, landed in hot water earlier this year after his hotel employees complained about unfair treatment.
