Black Eyed Peas to Replace Fergie With CL?

Rumor has it, the former 2NE1 member is joining Black Eyed Peas as the new vocalist.
Black Eyed Peas reportedly wants to replace Fergie a.k.a. Stacy Ferguson with CL. According to a new report, the former 2NE1 frontwoman is joining the group as the new vocalist.

With Fergie rumored departure and BEP's impending comeback in August, many fans became curious to who would be filling in the vocalist position. According to TV Report, CL was named as the top candidate as she has maintained a close friendship with will.i.am following their collaboration.

YG Entertainment hasn't responded to a request for comment.

Fergie previously denied she's leaving BEP. "Fergie is still in the Black Eyed Peas and has an enormous amount of love for her brothers," a spokesperson for the "M.I.L.F. $" hitmaker told Billboard, "However, she's currently focusing on her solo record in partnership with BMG and she's incredibly excited for her fans to hear her new music."

will.i.am later clarified the rumors, tweeting, "Lies...@Fergie is focusing on #DoubleDutchess & @BEP is doing #MastersOfTheSun...That doesn't mean @fergie is out of the group #BEP4ever. People will report what ever they want to report regardless of the sources...It's a crazy world..."
