The 'Counting On' star pops the big question to his 18-year-old girlfriend after only two months of courtship.

Joy-Anna Duggar's wedding was not the only big news from the "19 Kids and Counting" family. Congratulations are also in order for Joseph Duggar. The 22-year-old reality TV star is engaged to Kendra Caldwell, 18. He popped the big question at his sister's nuptials.
"We are so excited to be engaged and look forward to a lifetime together. We are so grateful for how the Lord brought us together, and we look forward to this special time of engagement and to someday serving Christ as man and wife," the newly-engaged couple said.
They met through church and began their courtship in March. Joseph revealed, "I asked Joy and Austin a few weeks ago if they would mind if I proposed to her at [their] wedding and they were like, 'Oh yeah, we'd love it if you do that.' "
"I was definitely nervous going into it, but I wasn't afraid that she was going to say no, because she has said, 'I'm just waiting on you!' " Joseph stated. His fiancee said, "I'm so happy and so shocked. There's so many words I want to say, but just shocked."
The Duggars were famous for their TLC show. In 2015, the eldest son, Josh, was exposed for molesting several girls including his sisters and the family faced backlash for covering it up. Their show was canceled, but they returned to TV less than a year later with a spinoff show "Counting On" which is entering its fourth season.
