Is baby on the way for Selena Gomez and The Weeknd? The couple reportedly had a pregnancy scare post-Coachella as the former Disney darling was convinced that she was pregnant with their baby. And it wasn't for no reason, since the pair "had one careless night," according to a source.

The source tells OK! magazine that the 24-year-old singer/actress "had a scare like this years ago when she was with Justin, but this time she was so sure." The source adds, "Her cycle's been messing her around but they had one careless night that's had them freaking out ever since."

But that was apparently just a false alarm. Nevertheless, the situation has brought them closer than ever as the source dishes, "She was so amazed at how he handled it - he was actually excited! She's even more in love with him knowing that - she thinks they have a real future together."

Selena and The Weeknd may have been dating for just several months now, but the "Starboy" hitmaker has got her mother's approval. The singer, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, recently took to Instagram to share a photo of him and Selena at the Met Gala. Selena's mom Mandy commented on the photo, "Glowing, smiling, looking health and equal love. Mama is happy XO."
