The Academy Award-winning actress reportedly felt relieved that her estranged husband 'owned up to much of his part in the failure of their marriage.'

AceShowbiz - Brad Pitt broke his silence on his family drama in a recent interview for GQ's latest issue. He admitted his alcohol addiction put a strain on his relationship with his family. His estranged wife, Angelina Jolie, was reportedly "truly touched" by his bravery to confess his part in the failure of their marriage.

"Angelina [Jolie] was truly touched by Brad [Pitt]'s GQ interview," a source told HollywoodLife.com, before adding that she thought the interview was "sincere, heartfelt and courageous." The insider continued, "She was given an advanced copy out of respect and it reminded her of the Brad that she fell in love with years ago." Angie reportedly felt relieved that Brad "owned up to much of his part in the failure of their marriage."

"She is proud that he is using the pain of their split as motivation to grow and change," the source added. In the interview, Brad said he's really trying to be a better man for his kids. He revealed he didn't want to destruct his life by drinking alcohol. "[I don't] want to live that way anymore," he shared. Instead of alcohol, the "Allied" actor claimed he's now only drinking "cranberry juice and fizzy water."

In the interview, Brad also shared that he listened to a lot of Frank Ocean's songs as a way to help him cope with his nasty divorce. "I find this young man so special. Talk about getting to the raw truth. He's painfully honest. He's very, very special," he said of the Grammy-winning singer. "I can't find a bad one. And of great irony to me: Marvin Gaye's 'Here, My Dear' [Gaye's touchstone album about divorce]. And that kind of sent me down a road."
