AceShowbiz - Cheryl Cole and Liam Payne reportedly have settled on their baby boy's name. According to a new report from Daily Mail, the pop stars have decided to call their five-week-old son Bear after finally settling on it just a few days ago.
A friend of the couple told the publication, "Liam and Cheryl couldn't decide on a name for ages and kept toing and froing between options." The pal continued, "But they both loved Bear and settled on it a few days ago. Despite the sleepless nights, the couple are completely smitten with little Bear."
The couple is said using the 23-year-old singer's surname so their son will be known as Bear Payne. They're not the first famous couple to use the unique moniker. Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver's five-year-old son is called Buddy Bear. Kate Winslet and Alicia Silverstone have also named their respective kids Bear.
Cheryl and Liam welcomed their first child on March 22. The One Direction member took to Instagram to share the very first photo of his son, with the accompanying message that read, "My close friends and family know there are very few times when I'm left speechless... wow!" He continued, "I'm incredibly happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world, it's a moment that I will never forget for the rest of my life and my favourite memory I have so far."
"I'm completely in awe of his incredible mother and how she has been the whole way through this, she's really made my dreams come true. We haven't named him yet but he's already capturing hearts including mine," the first-time dad added. "I feel very blessed. Happy Mother's Day everyone!"
