AceShowbiz - Ben Affleck and Casey Affleck may star in drama "Triple Frontier", which has been in a setback since Paramount, Channing Tatum and Tom Hardy dropped out of the project. According to Deadline, Netflix is among many places which may become the new home for the crime drama.
Should the deal be closed, the Affleck brothers will join Oscar-winner Mahershala Ali in the film. Ali is currently the only actor who is officially attached to star in "Triple Frontier". Other actors who were once attached to the project included Johnny Depp, Tom Hanks and Will Smith.
Acclaimed director Kathryn Bigelow was once set to direct before the project landed on J.C. Chandor. Roven and Alex Gartner produce the movie with Mark Boal penning the script. The drama will take place in the notorious border zone with Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil.
Ben and Casey have had plenty of experience in working together. They both starred opposite each other in 1997's "Good Will Hunting", 1997's "Chasing Amy" and 1999's "200 Cigarettes". In 2007, Ben directed Casey's movie "Gone Baby Gone".
Ben's recent films include "The Accountant", "Live by Night" and "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice". Meanwhile, Casey made an appearence in "Interstellar", "Triple 9" and "Manchester by the Sea".
