Justin Bieber took to Instagram on Sunday, April 23 to share his 2014 DUI mugshot along with his latest selfie. The "Let Me Love You" hitmaker reflected on his troubled past, saying he's grateful that he's not where he used to be.
"I LOVE THIS because it reminds me IM NOT EXACTLY WHERE I WANT TO BE BUT THANK GOD IM NOT WHERE I USED TO BE!! THE BEST IS YET TO COME DO YOU BELIEVE IT?" Justin captioned side-by-side photos of his mugshot and a black-and-white selfie.
The photo on the left is from Justin's 2014 arrest in Miami after he was pulled over for drag racing and subsequently being charged with a DUI. At the time, police revealed that the "Cold Water" singer admitted to smoking marijuana, drinking alcohol and taking a prescription medication, which was later revealed to be Xanax.
Justin is currently recording his upcoming fifth studio album. He recently released a Spanish collaboration with Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee titled "Despacito".
