AceShowbiz - A teaser for a new "Transformers: The Last Knight" trailer is unleashed ahead of the premiere on Wednesday, April 12. It shows violent scenes and Anthony Hopkins' Sir Edmund Burton ominously saying, "A thousand years we've kept it hidden. The secret history of Transformers."
The film will shatter the core myths of the Transformers franchise and redefine what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth.
The Michael Bay-directed film is due June 23 stateside. Mark Wahlberg returns as Cade Yeager and Stanley Tucci as KSI leader. Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson from the original trilogy are also back as William Lennox and Robert Epps respectively. Meanwhile, Isabela Moner is added as a new young female lead.
