Melanie Brown a.k.a. Mel B is traumatized following her 10-year marriage and nasty split from Stephen Belafonte. The former Spice Girls member is allegedly "freaking out" about the split because she thinks it could affect her love life in the future.

"Mel B is confident that she can make it through this challenging time in her life now that her temporary restraining order [against Stephen Belafonte] has been approved," a source tells HollywoodLife.com. "But the marriage has changed her. She feels like she will never be the same again."

Citing the source, the webloid alleges Mel "feels like it will be a long time before she can trust or date anyone and she fears she will never fall in love again." Mel B has filed for divorce and been granted restraining order against her estranged husband. She decided to leave Stephen after he allegedly took her passport to prohibit her from spending time with her father before he died last month.

Mel B is now a happy woman as she has reunited with her estranged family. According to Mel B's sister Danielle, Stephen isolated Mel B from her family during their decade-long marriage. The "America's Got Talent" judge reportedly almost gave up in 2014. She attempted suicide by taking an entire bottle of Aspirin, but couldn't go with it. When she tried to call for help, Stephen locked her in a bedroom.
