Is Lady GaGa's romance with Christian Carino just an act? That's what OK! magazine has reported. According to the mag, the 31-year-old singer/actress is dating the CAA talent agent just to help boost her acting career.

It's only recently the Mother Monster and her new boyfriend went public with their relationship. But the magazine claims that rumors have since been swirling suggesting the Golden Globe winner "is after more than just a man."

Citing a so-called source, the magazine says that GaGa is hoping Carino will "bring her dream of becoming a big-screen star to fruition." The "Million Reasons" hitmaker "wants it all," claims the alleged source. "Movies, TV, Broadway. Christian is dedicating himself to making it happen, so what's not to love?... Christian is low-key, but behind the scenes he's an attack dog for his clients."

However, a rep for GaGa has debunked the above claim, telling Gossip Cop that it's completely "untrue." The site further says it's unlikely that the talented singer/actress is dating Carino just to help her boost her acting career.

GaGa already won her first Golden Globe for "American Horror Story" even before her relationship with the talent agent turned romantic. She's also landed a lead role in Bradley Cooper's upcoming "A Star Is Born" remake.
