'The Mindy Project' Actor Adam Pally Arrested for Marijuana and Cocaine Possession

The 'Happy Endings' star was arrested after he was spotted smoking marijuana out of an e-cigarette in the neighborhood of Hell's Kitchen in New York on Tuesday night, March 28.

AceShowbiz - "The Mindy Project" actor Adam Pally was arrested on Tuesday night, March 28, in Hell's Kitchen neighborhood in New York. He has been charged with two misdemeanor charges after police officers caught him smoking marijuana from an e-cigarette in public.

According to a spokesperson for New York Police Department, the "Making History" star was also caught having a small amount of cocaine. Because of that, Adam was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree and marijuana in the 5th degree.

The 35-year-old actor was reportedly taken to jail, processed and was later released after given a desk appearance ticket. He also needed to return to court in June, according to the spokesperson. However, Adam's reps haven't given any comments regarding the arrest.

Adam is best known for his role as Max Blum on "Happy Endings". The actor will next be seen in "The Little Hours" opposite Dave Franco and Alison Brie, and "Band Aid", which is set to hit U.S. theaters on June 2. Adam's movie credits include "Dirty Grandpa", "Bad Night", "Life After Beth" and "Iron Man 3".
