The 'Glee' alum has been spotted filming his scene with series regular Justin Chambers as he is set to make appearance in the last few episodes of the ABC medical drama.

AceShowbiz - Matthew Morrison is back on TV as a doctor, almost two years since ending his stint on "Glee" where he played Spanish teacher Will Schuester. The actor is set to guest star in a mystery role on ABC's long-running series "Grey's Anatomy".

He will appear in the last few episodes of the current season of the medical drama. There's a speculation that the Tony Award-nominated actor will play Jo Wilson's (Camilla Luddington) abusive estranged husband.

Morrison recently took to his Instagram story to reveal that he's playing Dr. Paul Stadler on an unnamed project. He has also been photographed filming a scene with Justin Chambers, who plays Alex Karev, on location in Los Angeles with Kevin McKidd as director.

At the end of season 12, it was revealed that Jo Wilson was reluctant to marry Alex because she was already married. And because she'd run away from her abusive spouse, she couldn't obtain a divorce. It's also revealed that Jo Wilson isn't her real name.

Morrison has guest starred on "The Good Wife" and "Younger" since "Glee" ended its run in 2015. He also joined Broadway production of "Finding Neverland" from March 2015 to January 2016, and has a role in upcoming feature film "Tulip Fever".

"Grey's Anatomy" airs Thursdays at 8 P.M. on ABC.
