AceShowbiz - Nicole Kidman, Steve Carell and Amy Schumer are set to star in "She Came to Me". Propelled by two intertwinning love stories, the new movie is described as a comedic drama set in the world of contemporary Opera and tug boats that cuts into the layer cake of American society with wit and heart.
Rebecca Miller is attached to direct and write the forthcoming project. She and Damon Cardasis' Round Films will produce alongside OddLot Entertainment's Gigi Pritzker and Rachel Shane. However, plot details are still kept under wraps.
Kidman is busy filming "Untouchable" along with Kevin Hart and Bryan Cranston. The "Lion" actress is also starring on HBO's "Big Little Lies". Kidman's next movie projects include sci-fi comedy "How to Talk to Girls at Parties", "The Killing of a Sacred Deer", in which she stars alongside Colin Farrell, and "The Beguiled", which is set to be released in U.S. theaters on June 23.
Carell returns to lend his voice to Gru in "Despicable Me 3" and will star in comedy-drama film "Last Flag Flying". The "Minions" actor will next be seen alongside Emma Stone in "Battle of the Sexes", which is based on the infamous tennis match between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs. The movie is scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on September 22.
Meanwhile, Schumer is now in post-production of action comedy film "Snatched", which is slated to bow on May 12, and a war drama movie "Thank You for Your Service", which will be released on October 27. Schumer's movie credits include "Trainwreck", "Seeking a Friend for the End of the World" and "Price Check".
