Jason Derulo says he would like to trade his professional relationship with Nicki Minaj with the romantic one. In an interview with Page Six, the "Swalla" hitmaker said of his collaborator, "I think Nicki is beautiful, super talented, all the above," adding, "I would date her if I wasn't involved."

However, fans can't expect the duo to be dating anytime soon. During the interview, the 27-year-old singer revealed that he's currently having a girlfriend. The "Want to Want Me" singer said he's trying to keep his relationship under wraps, though.

"I'm not single," Jason shared. "I'm keeping it on the low. I've been trying to," he explained. "I'm trying to do it different this time because every other time, it didn't work." But despite being in a stable relationship, he admitted his direct messages were "still jam-packed with X-rated notes" from his female fans.

"I get all kinds of girls busting it wide open ... doing things, playing with things," he explained. "They're doing videos where there's like one thing moving and then the rest of the video is a still. It's 2017. New s**t is on the horizon."

Jason previously dated Jordin Sparks. They ended their relationship in September 2014 after dating for three years. Nicki, meanwhile, recently split from Meek Mill, whom she started dating in early 2015.
