AceShowbiz - Remy Ma has opened up about her ugly beef with Nicki Minaj. While talking about her life after prison in a Facebook Live interview with Buzzfeed's "Another Round" podcast, the "Another One" femcee took the opportunity to address her infamous feud with the 34-year-old "Anaconda" rapper.
Remy began by discussing her life behind the bars, saying she learned how to be supportive to other women. "I hated women before I went to prison. I always felt like women were trying to tear each other down," she told hosts Heben Nigatu and Tracy Clayton in the Tuesday night, March 7 interview.
The 36-year-old said that now she respects and admires other women, unless they "piss [her] off." "I think [women] work so much better when we work together," she said, before adding, "However, in the event that you piss me off and we become arch enemies, run for cover," referring to her beef with Nicki.
Of her diss track titled "ShETHER", Remy said, "I don't I regret it, but I'm just not particularly proud of it either." Describing the process of recording the track, she jokingly said, "I didn't realize it was seven minutes until after it was done." She added, "Have you ever had an argument with your man where you go in and you realize after, like, 'I was cursing him out for the last three hours?' "
After revealing everything she wanted to say of the beef with Nicki, Remy said that "it's over." She added, "If she wants to say something, that's cool."
