The 49-year-old actor attempts to have a career in music as he records the former Disney star's joint track with Kygo.

AceShowbiz - After his cover of Rihanna's "Stay" made headlines in 2013, Vin Diesel finally has a chance to professionally record a song. Vin might have a new career as a singer since his vocal is going to be featured in a new version of Selena Gomez and Kygo's collaboration track, "It Ain't Me".

On Friday, February 17, Vin took to Instagram to gush over the collaboration and he had nothing but praise for the former Disney star and the Norwegian DJ. Vin posted a short clip of him announcing the collaboration with a caption that read, "This was the day after I chilled with Kygo at my post Grammy party... for years I have done low tech karaoke for you die hard fans, often showing a different and emotional side."

He also added, "But I was never invited into a professional studio, or never had the courage to try it for real with an engineer and everything. The magician somehow took my voice and and added it to the super talented Selena... Kygo sent over the track today and I am Speechless. Wow. Just speechless."

The "Furious 7" actor seemed excited at the chance to venture into music as he also shared another clip on Facebook. The video showed Vin discussing music with Kygo and even being praised by the DJ for his passion. Vin captioned his Facebook post, "I don't know how you did it @kygomusic. Who would have ever believed how mixing my voice with @selenagomez could be so powerful! Can't wait for the world to hear it. I literally can't stop listening to it. Speechless... a dream come true. #ItAintMe."

Vin had been hinting at the collaboration on Instagram a few days prior to the announcement. On Thursday, February 16, he posted a snap of him in a recording booth and simply captioned it, "Happy V Day."

On the same day, he posted another picture that saw him posing with the 25-year-old DJ. Vin slightly dished on the collaboration in the caption as he wrote, "You all know how much I love music, so when one of your favorite producers @kygomusic nvites you to the studio you go... what I didn't expect was to be asked to go into the recording booth. Haha... never be afraid to step out of your comfort zone!"
